cd edgeai-tidl-tools
git checkout 08_06_00_03
git switch -c 08_06_00_03 export SOC=am62a source ./setup.sh

During the downloading , there is some error of as below.

Installing python osrt packages...
Downloading tidl tools for AM62A SOC ...

Installing:onnxruntime
Installing:tflite_2.8
Installing:opencv
Installing:dlr
Traceback (most recent call last):

Can you guide what is wrong of my compile and setup error?

Regards,

  • Hello,

    Thank you for your question.

Could you please confirm you are running this command on PC? I assume so based on x86_64 references. For PC, it will help to know OS too -- we primarily support Ubuntu 18.04 LTS for these tools right now while we migrate to newer ubuntu LTS.

Have you tried using the docker container? This is intended to help reduce dependency-related issues like you are seeing:

    https://github.com/TexasInstruments/edgeai-tidl-tools/blob/master/docs/advanced_setup.md#docker-based-setup-for-x86_pc

If we need to move forward with native build:

I see this is failing during the DLR portion of the setup.sh script.  I'm able to build this on my side without error, so I'll need your help to reproduce. Since this is failing first from the setup.sh script, we should diagnose that. I believe this will fix issues later with Cmake (although adding "VERBOSE=1" or "-d" tag to your 'make' command would help know where/why this is failing).

In setup.sh, DLR commands start at line 430. Could you remove the --quiet tag on line 439 for the wget command? Similarly, remove line 442. I want to make sure that dlr...tar.gz is being downloaded correctly. Sometimes proxies cause problems if the environment doesn't have a ~/.wgetrc or proxy variables set.

    Best,
    Reese
