TDA4VM: Whether the TDA4 J721E SOC DSI output port support CSI protocol data

Yes, the PHY is common and it supports both DSI and CSI protocol. But please note that the input for both of these formats are different. For DSI, input comes from DSS, whereas for CSI, input comes from CSITX module.

    I find a kernel named "tivxCsitxNode". Is this kernel used to output video in csi-package through D-PHY TX port?

    Can I use this kernel to receive output image of SRV and display the image on screen?

    In addition, does it support the dual display mode of CSI-TX + HDMI?

    As you said, maybe I can create the following graph to display the SRV output image through dual output port(DSS+CSITX).

    capture -> displayM2M -> srv -> scalar -> display(HDMI)

                                                                          |-> csitx

    Can this plan work?
