TDA4VM: Is software forward compatible from TDA4VM to TDA4VH?

Hello Team,

Hope this message finds you well!

While looking through the different versions of TDA4, the topic "software compatibility" came up. Would software from TDA4VM be forward compatible to TDA4VH in general?

And if not in general, would software related solely to GPU be compatible(forward or backwards)?

    Hello Nuri,

    Yes, in terms on GPU and graphics applications, software would be forwards and backwards compatible with the GPU. We support OpenGLES 3.2 on both GPUs, so if your application uses it, it will be applicable across the TDA4x devices. TDA4VH uses a "newer" GPU which has access to newer features in hardware, but at the moment the software driver that we provide in the SDK has kept the same features enabled across the devices.
