Hi Robert,
Will this 20ms have risk for power on and power off ?
Best Regards,
Brian
The power on reset can be held indefinitely to the processor - so i don't see any risk. Do you have something (like a PMIC) managing the power to the processor, and if so - does it have a watchdog timer or similar? If so that needs to be studied, but no issue from the processor.
Hi Robert,
They are using our PMIC: PTPS65941515RWERQ1
Could you please help check ?
Thanks,
Brian
The PMIC controls the reset timing, so how is customer impacting (wire-OR other logic inline)? Yes PTPS65941x PMICs do include watchdog functionality. It can be disabled via hardware strap (if needed). I think the default time is very large (minutes), so 20msec would not be an issue.
