I woulk like to know if I can download the latest released kernel from GIT 2.6.39.3 and use it for the OMAP-L138 (instead of downloading the latest PSP).

Hi,

Yes, you can download Linux from GIT and use it on OMAP-L138. But please note that, Linux Kernel from GIT may not have support for all the drivers. We are in the process of submitting all our private patches and bug fixes to community.
