Choice a DSP's model for Audio Digital applications

Hello everybody! I'm new in this Community! I'm trying to find DSP's models for Audio Digital Applications in the professional way. I've found the TMS320C672x, but i can´t find the starter kit's for this DSP's. Now, I need to know if exist Starter Kit's for TMS320C672x or another models for similar applications. Thanks

You can buy the 6727 Professional Audio Developer's Kit (PADK), which is an expensive board with high-end audio components. It also would require you to have an emulator (no on-board emulation) and a full version of CCS. So that's an expensive option.

Your other alternative would be to buy a 6747 DSK. This is a newer device so it is actually a higher performance processor. The board itself is also far less expensive, has on-board emulation, and comes with a version of CCS that will work with the board.

Thank you for you answer. I think that I gonna buy 6747 DSK. The 6727 PADK is too expensive!!

In the other hand, the 6747 DSK is for image and video processing too, isn't it?

That depends on your application.

C6747 has LCD controler, but it does not have a video port, neither DDR2 memory interface.

The idea is to work in Digital Audio Processing. Just I wanted to know the applications supported by this device. In the TI's page show some applications for this DSP's Model.
