AM6442: The impact of VPP power enable on the chip

Hi, I read that the am64 manual says that when the otp is not programmed, the VPP power supply must be turned off, but our current hardware has been forced to enable it after power-on by default. What impact does this have on the chip?

Thank you for the query.

If i understand your query, you seem to have connected the VPP 1.8V supply permanently without provision to enable.

This is not recommended.

We do not have information on the possible effect of connecting the VPP supply permanently as this is not a use case that we have considered.

I would suggest you make the changes before continuing the tests.

If you do not use eFuse programming, you could leave the pin open. You need to connect an LDO as shown in the EVM in case you would want to use and the LDO needs to be controlled.
