on the AM64x-EVM the program works. However, the HW for this part is the same on our custom  board.

Do you mean by PHY ? Can you please identify the difference between 2 setup ?

Can you please share sysconfig and linker file ?

the linker file is the same like the example and the sysconfig is modified, I use only one NETIF instance.

I think so. The program indicates that the phy is active. 

The program worked with the old SDK version 08_02_00_31.

In summary:

Test case : enet_lwip_cpsw example

Custom board was working fine with 8.2.0.31, but not working with SDK 8.6.0.45.

with 8.6.0.45 it is giving Tx DMA related error.

Here are some changes I observed in syscfg files:

You are using MDIO_NORMAL_MODE while my setup has MDIO_MANUAL_MODE.

Can you switch the mode and try ?

I did it manually now, since I had already made changes to the project and the sysconfig file is only linked into the project.

The example doesn't work. I think that's why I changed the settings.

I get a assert:

I hope I have the correct settings. The sysconfig file shows an exclamation mark but doesn't tell me why.

 Does the example with our board work for you?
