Can you specify the exact steps you made to get to that state? What device and compiler have you selected in the previous steps? Which version of CCS are you using?

The described problem happens when XDCtools does not contain the target mapping for a specific device. For Concerto devices, you have to switch to XDCtools 3.23 to get the target and the platform field automatically filled in.
