Hi
May I have check about AM62x series's GP(Non-secure) silicon life.
In this topic,
"AM62x has GP OPNs publicly released, but customers need to migrate to HS OPNs since GP OPNs will be phased out.
The devices released are HS-FS = GP + optional security."
--
And I understood AM62xxAxxxGxxxx will phase out.
So we use secure device (e.g. AM6252ATCGHAALV) is good for us.
However in the topic discussed about EVM, So I confused phase out device is only Non-secure EVM?
Could you let me which is the phase out device only EVM or all SoC ?
Thanks,
GR
GR,
As documented in current release notes https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM62X/09_00_00_03/exports/docs/devices/AM62X/linux/Release_Specific_Migration_Guide.html#processor-sdk-linux-am62x-09-xx-releases
GP and HS FS variants are supported with OOB and SDK experience of BSP defaulting to HS FS
The GP to HS FS Migration guide is documented here : https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM62X/09_00_00_03/exports/docs/linux/Foundational_Components_Migration_Guide.html
On
"Could you let me which is the phase out device only EVM or all SoC ?"
https://www.ti.com/tool/SK-AM62A-LP
https://www.ti.com/tool/SK-AM62-LP
are only available and released as HS FS variants .
Hi Bajjuri,
Thanks to your information.
I understood SK-AM62xx are only HS-FS.
And the GP device will relese as production going forward.
Best regards,
GR
