As Kumar, in this case, filter / kernel is 3x3 and input 512 channel - 512x9 > 4kb , this will not fit into mesmic RAM hence coping from DDR which causing the runtime penalty.

The best option, reduce the output channel .

Kumar - pls add more details from your side pls.

even the stride was 2x2 for the layer84, which adding compute
