AM6442: How can USB boot be tested on SK-64B ?

Hi,

My customer tested the USB boot with TMDS64GPEVM ( Non-support Secure boot ) and it worked well.

However, they don't know how they can do the USB boot with SK-AM64B (Supports Secure boot).

Which USB ports USB-A or USB-C should they use ?

Could you tell them how they can test the USB boot with SK-A6M4B ?

Do you have any document ?

Hi Hideaki-san,

The SK-AM64B USB type-C port is for power supply only. The USB type-A port is the AM64x USB port, but it is designed as host-only port, so you cannot test USB DFU on SK-AM64B board.

Hi Bin,

Thank you for your answer, but it's bad information. If USB DFU on SK-AM64B cannot be used, how can the customer use Flashing tool and Key writer tool ?

I think UART boot cannot be used due to Errata.

As discussed offline, the AM64x GPEVM could be one of the options to use USB DFU.
