AM625: setup time and hold time requirements for eMMC interface -HS200

we require the setup time and hold time requirements for eMMC interface when operated in HS200 mode. Im unable to find these details in the datasheet. For other modes of eMMC these timing requirements are available but for HS200 mode, its not available.Kindly provide your inputs on this.

HS200 is one of the modes that requires the capture delay to be tuned for optimum performance. The setup/hold time varies based on the tuning result, so we do not define a setup or hold value for modes that require tuning.

Does the tuning happen automatically in this mode, or is there some configuration that the user must provide?

Tuning is done with a software algorithm that is part of our standard software offering. I'm not familiar with the details since I only provide hardware support. I seem to recall hearing someone say the TRM references a separate application note, so you may want to read the TRM chapter on the MMC/SD host controller.

The tuning algorithm is in the following application note from Jacinto (same applies to Sitara MPU devices too)

The software tuning is implemented in Linux SDK

In Linux Software tuning is done at each stage (as they need to work independent of previous stages) . So R5 SPL, A53SPL, A53 u-boot and Linux kernel tune eMMC to HS200 independently (same algorithm though)
