CCSv3.3+C6727+XDS510 were is driver for emulator?

For CCSv3.1 i have tixds6000.dvr and tixds672x.dvr and no problem with debug.

For CCSv3.3 i have only tixds6000.dvr and my emulator connecting to C6727 but CCS generate errors and when i am loading the program code is not represent to facts.

If there is a driver for C6727 in the CCSv3.3?

  • The C672x driver code was merged into the tixds6000.dvr file sometime after its original release in CCS v3.1.

Ideas: Are you using the correct GEL file in CCSetup for your target?  This could cause errors during loading if the memory map, for example, is not correct.

  • I repeat:

In CCSv3.3 with  tixds6000.dvr my xds510 connect to C6727 but not work!

In CCSv3.1 with tixds672x.dvr my xds510 connect to C6727 and work fine!

This is not GEL problem. Because tixds6000.dvr in CCSv3.3 for C672x contain a BUG!!!

I copy  tixds672x.dvr from CCSv3.1 to CCSv3.3, rename it to tixds6000.dvr. Now i work with C6727, debug DSP and all is fine now for me, but it is not coorect, because i cant debug C62x and C67x.

  • Which emulator are you using? You need to download the proper emulator drivers for your specific emulator. CCS comes with XDS560 and XDS510 drivers, but these are for the TI XDS560 (PCI) and TI XDS510 (ISA-based) emulators and will not work with Spectrum Digital or Blackhawk emulators.
