AM1808/2 - max Data rate of UART

Hi,

Could you please provide info on the max data rate (and potential limitation) supported by UART of AM1808 (for both 375Mhz and 456Mhz version)?

Customer needs to connect a UMTS modem to AM180x platform and requires up to 12Mb/s data rate.

    this should be described in the datasheet for the respective device... I didn't check the latest ones.

    At least in the past this was limited and we had to extend the spec (and datasheet) for the AM1810 (Profibus derivate of AM18xx) to get the UART qualified up to 12Mb/s. This was a requirement for Profibus. So the customer might look at the AM1810.
