J784S4XEVM: Power on failure

Hello,

EVM board does not start. (order no : T04240972)

When switched on, the processor fan only starts for 0.5sec.

Three LEDs light up for about 0.5 sec, indicating that there is power on the board.

After about 0.5 sec, LEDs LD8 and LD9 go out continuously and the board's fan stops working.

The product does not boot.

We kindly ask for urgent assistance in replacing the defective product.

Has the board been working prior and just started this behavior or is this first attempt to use?

What power supply are you using?

When I turned on the power today, the EVM board works normally.

Input power is 24V 0.5A .

I'll check in a few more days.

The power supply changed to 30V 30A.

I am a co-worker of Yoo. I have been running tisdk-default-image with SD boot on J784S4EVM for two weeks ago, but few days ago, I power on, the fan did not running and tehre is no activity on the USB serial port. After about 0.5 seconds, LEDs LD8 and LD9 go out continuously and the board's fan stops working.

i connected EVM to power supply(24V) and always confimed power switch in the OFF position and then slide switch button "ON".

I turned off EVM 2-3 days, i turn on EVM today and three LEDs light up is "ON"( VSYS_3V3 (LD7) - MCU_IO(LD8) - VSYS_IO LEDs(LD9)

But after repeating SD Booting about 10 times by switch ON/OFF and turning it back on after an hour, the same problem occurs.

I found a case here on the community site that has the same problem as me.

Yes - it sounds like the EVM has a problem. Please use the response from me to contract TI's Customer Service and request a replacement EVM.

Can you send me the faulty EVM? I would like to take a look to see if we have a design issue or manufacturing issue.
