Image processing with IVA HD processors

Hi,

I have two doubts with IVA HD processors in Netra platform.

1. How exactly M3 Video communicates with IVA HD and what will be running on IVA HD processors.

2. Can we do the image processing with the IVA HD processors..? viz jpeg image processing

    Hello,

    The M3 Video communicates with the HDVICP2 processors through Interprocessor Communication (IPC) and the HDVICP2 processors are for doing video encode/decode.

    Yes, image encode/decode is possible on the HDVICP2 processors.
