TDA4AL-Q1: How to flash by fastboot？

But，May I know why SDK8.2 can use fastboot to flash，but SDK8.6 can not？

And，Can fastboot be supported in SDK 8.6 by using patch?

we support TDA4VL device after 8.4 SDK, I think you are comparing two different devices over here.

AND, May I know which specific hardware difference won't work with fastboot?

I can give you a workaround but we don't guarantee that it will work or not as it is planned for 9.1 team is working on the proper fix.

Currently, we plan to use 8.6 ver. SDK as baseline till project SOP, but fastboot function is a strong demand, can we get a patch to achieve fastfoot based on 8.6 SDK when 9.1 released?

We understand your concern, seeing the demand we targeted this feature for 9.1 SDK  , it is planned in NOV 2023.

The best we can give you is workaround which we shared above.

Hi Diwakar,
We applied the workaround patch you provided, then made the jumper on HW board into fastboot mode, it looks not work. We can't find any fastboot device on USB port after entry uboot mode.

So Could you please provide the guideline to flash the stuff of bootfs and rootfs into eMMC by fastboot ?

Fastboot flashing is not validated it just workaround i am not sure whether it will work or not, i tried at my end but it is getting stuck better to wait. 

for proper fix on 9.1SDK.
