SK-AM62B: SDK8.6 will randomly cause the SK-AM62B EVM reboot ?

Champs:

We have a customer ordered 2 62B EVM.

Testing with SDK8.6 WIC image on SD card. (Boot mode pin is SD card).

He found:

#1. When staying uboot prompt, the EVM won't reboot.

#2. But, entering the kernel, stay some while (maybe 10~3x mins), the system will reboot suddenly.

Moreover, if he switches the Debian, the system can stay longer than 20mins, but it still reboots after some while.

Does any one have this kind of issue?

Hi,

1. How did customer reboot? I will see if I can see the issue on my end.

2. We did not support Debian on 08.06, how did they test Debian on 08.06 and get the reboot?

Hi Judith:

Sorry to make you confused.

#1. They have tested with SDK9.0 / Debian version.

#2. They also tested the SDK8.6 (default Linux version

Both 2 cases are having the EVM reboot randomly.

Some are 1x mins to reboot, some are 3x mins to reboot.

They are familiar with TI AM64, and this AM64 project is going to MP.

The issue reported here is AM62.
