TDA4VP-Q1: Power Tree with another host

Part Number: TDA4VP-Q1

Hello All,

I have few questions regarding the power tree for my TDA4VP design.

1. My design is going to have an eMMC, flash and DDR along with TDA chip. I am designing a power tree for above blocks. I know TDA4 has inbuilt power management blocks which are optimsed with say TPS6594 devices.

But since my host is another SoC on the board I want to control some master functions by this chip and not by TDA. Is it a good strategy?

2. Is it OK to just control main Enable pin of the PMIC configure main registers over main I²C of the PMIC and let TDA4 do everything?
