Hi, all

My customer submit a H.264 decoder issue, the test case is here0284.grandstream.zip.

It will break out the following error:

@0x016ef685:[T:0x00032880] ti.sdo.dmai - [Vdec2] VIDDEC2_process() non-fatal error 0x1000

the dvsdk version is 4.01, and codec version is 01.00.01.00

However, the stream can be decoded by other decoder.

So could you have a check on it ?

I have checked the error code, and it is said that Unsupported feature/parameters in input.

But I have checked the stream's profile is H.264 baseline 1.3, which should be supported by the H.264 decoder.(version 01.00.01.00).

So why the stream can't be supported?

Hi Yaoming Qin,

The clip is erroneous. It has errors in set of SPS PPS present after frame number 90. The stream can not be decoded by JM reference decoder, ffmpeg, elecard and vlc as well.

Additional details about the erroneous clip

Stream has multiple of SPS - PPS. In the PPS that follows after 90 frames, syntax element second_chroma_qp_index_offset is out of range. Hence our decoder hits an error. The above behavior is seen in JM reference decoder as well.
