McASP Device Driver

 I'm trying to get teh McASP device driver (spra870a) to work with DSP/BIOS. I am using it to set up DSP to DSP communications, not for interfacing to codecs or other audio chips. Does anyone have an example DSP/BIOS project which uses this driver without an attached codec? I have the ddk but the sample projects don't seem to use the McASP driver.
