Hi, team

we are debug surround camera demo by using vx_app_srv_camera.out. we found it's different from multi_cam demo in the control of camera. so we need to modify sensor_drv? Because we use max96712 + max96705 + sensor, can you help us. Thinks

In run_app_srv.txt we found that IIC address of sensor serializer is write by appilcation, but in the multi_cam demo those address is config by IssSensor_CreateParams and we not found write address in the log.

Hi,

It clearly says that the pixel container for your output is not correct. Please correct pixel_container variable in your sensor config parameters.

"VX_ZONE_ERROR:[ownIsValidCreateParams:60] invalid pixel_container for exposure index 0"

The sensor's output is yuv422@8bit UYVY, but the demo only support NV12 YUYV. so we modify is_enable_yuyv from 0 to 1, and add code in API app_create_viss_aewb in vision_apps/apps/srv_demos/app_srv_camera/app_srv_camera.c as follows:

Hello,

Do you get a different error now that you have changed the vxCreateImage to support VX_DF_IMAGE_UYVY? Is the error in the SRV GPU node, or somewhere else?

Please provide the logs of the issue when you made the code change so we can identify where the issue is.

when set TIVX_RAW_IMAGE_16_BIT, we can get pixel_container value is 1052672 in API IssSensor_GetSensorInfo. It is correct value of TIVX_RAW_IMAGE_16_BIT(VX_ENUM_BASE(0x0001, 0X01) +0x00)

when set VX_DF_IMAGE_UYVY, the pixel_container value is 1498831189. It is correct value of VX_DF_IMAGE_UYVY.

the error occurs in ownIsValidCreateParams API in /ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-08_06_00_12/tiovx/source/framework/vx_raw_image.c, in the API when "pixel_container > (int32_t)TIVX_RAW_IMAGE_P12_BIT", it is error. this is meaning pixel_container only support three mode TIVX_RAW_IMAGE_16_BIT TIVX_RAW_IMAGE_8_BIT TIVX_RAW_IMAGE_P12_BIT.

But we run single_cam and multi_cam demo, it is no error about pixel_container using VX_DF_IMAGE_UYVY. Can you help us? Thinks

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in response.

In the surround view application provided in the SDK, the "is_enable_yuyv" in the cfg file tells whether the VISS should output NV12 or YUV422 output.

In this application, it expects the input to be a raw input from the sensor, which is why you are getting this error.

In order to support a YUV input, you would have to modify the input based on the multi-cam application, which takes in YUV input and bypasses the VISS.
Please refer the multi-cam example and modify the surround view demo.
