TMS320C6655: IBIS model

Part Number: TMS320C6655
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6657

Hello,

I was directed to here by Mohammadi, Nasser regard getting IBIS model.

Could you please supply me IBIS model for TMS320C6655CZH. and AMI-IBIS model for that device for its High Speed interfaces - SRIO and PCIE3.

Thanks,

Ohad

  • Hi Kyle,

Thanks but I'm not sure I understand what you sent me here. The link you gave me here leads to a page where I can download two exe files:

    KeyStoneISerDesIBISAMIModels-1.0-windows-installer.exe

    MatlabRunTimeCompiler-v7p9-windows-installer.exe

I need ibis files and not exe files.

    Thanks,

    Ohad

  • Ohad,

    This is the IBIS model:

TMS320C6655/57 CYP IBIS Model (revision 1.2)

The EXE you point to is an installer for IBIS AMI.

    Regards,
    Kyle

  • Hi Kyle,

I'm now trying to assign that ibis model o the Sigrity Aurora SW and it seems to be mismatched - I get an error that the ibis is not ok.

Could you tell what is the error with that ?

  • Or at least send me an updated correct file.

  • Hello Ohad,

What is the exact error that you are seeing.  Note that the IBIS model includes this text:

    Kyle

  • That is the error I get whenever I try to load the Ibis file for the DSP.

I don't see that error with all other ibis models for other devices.

    Ohad

  • Hello Ohad,

That error is not very helpful.  We double checked and are able to load/run a simulation using the IBIS file successfully using Hyperlynx simulator.  Can you check with your tool vendor on what the issue might be?

    Regards,

    Kyle
