TDA4VM: DSI debugging related issues on Linux

Hi Cesar,

Which DSI panel you are using?
We have DSI brought out in j721e-evm via DSI to FPD link, which is not supported in linux yet

We have DSI supported in linux for BBAI 64
You can refer to below code for dts nodes

Do you have a linux driver for
max96717 DSI panel, I don't see any driver in upstream

You need to add your panel timings to panel simple driver and
add the panel node in the dts

You can refer to below code in linux kernel
panel-simple.c « panel « drm « gpu « drivers - ti-linux-kernel/ti-linux-kernel - This repo contains a Linux kernel that has been integrated with outstanding TI open source patches based on the open source Linux kernel found at kernel.org. Contributions to this kernel need to be sent to the open source community for review.

2. You can add below nodes to k3-j721e-main.dtsi as shown here

In this line you should connect to your panel node instead of panel_bridge_in
