PROCESSOR-SDK-J721S2: 8.6 rtos sdk

hello experts

now I want to compile sbl in sdk, but when I use "make clean all"(this command is from 6.2. J721S2 SBL — Platform Development Kit (PDK) - J721S2 User Guide (ti.com)), it will compile all the boards. How can I just compile one specific board(the board I use is j721s2)? thanks!

Hi Xin,

Please follow the PDK Build Steps to build anything within the PDK. Do not build from individual component folders, and always build from the <PDK>/packages/ti/build directory.

Pass an additional BOARD and optionally an SOC variable to your build command.

Eg:

$ cd <ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721s2-evm-08_06_01_03>/pdk_j721s2_08_06_01_03/packages/ti/build

$ make -s BOARD=j721s2_evm help

$ make -s BOARD=j721s2_evm sbl_mmcsd_img

Hi Xin,

The tifs.bin is available under <ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721s2-evm-08_06_01_03>/pdk_j721s2_08_06_01_03/packages/ti/drv/sciclient/soc/V4 folder.

A simple find command for searching the binary in RTOS SDK would have easily provided you the location.
