OMAP-L138: DDR2 stability is abnormal after replacement

Part Number: OMAP-L138
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAPL138

Hi team,

Due to supply problems with the original MICRON DDR2 (MT47H64M16HR-25E), we chose two replacement DDR2 models, namely M14D1G1664A-2.5 of ESMT and W971GG6NB-25 of WINBOND. At present, there are some problems in the test that need your help:

Test conditions: OMAPL138 core voltage 1.3V, DDR operating voltage 1.80V, DDR clock 156Mhz, constant temperature 50℃

Test situation:
1.MT47H64M16HR-25E, working at a constant temperature of 50 degrees, switching on and off the machine every half hour, about one-thousandth of the probability of application can not start (file system error), return to normal after cooling;

2. M14D1G1664A-2.5, working at a constant temperature of 50 degrees, switching on and off the machine every half hour, about 50% probability of application program can not start (file system error), return to normal after cooling;

3. W971gg6nb-25, working at a constant temperature of 50 degrees, switching on and off the machine every half hour, about 50% probability of application can not start (file system error), return to normal after cooling;

The DDR2 circuit schematic diagram of the core board is as follows:

OMAPL138 DDR2 controller registers are configured as follows:

DRPYC1R = 0x000000c3

SDCR = 0x00134632

SDCR2 = 0x00000000

SDTIMR1 = 0x264a2a09

SDTIMR2 = 0x4412c722

SDRCR = 0x00000260
