We are trying to enable ov5647 camera sensor. We have followed the steps as given in Enable CSI-2 Sensor . After flashing SD card with new image, we are getting below error.

I am also attaching the dts file for your reference. Kindly let us know on how to enable the sensor.

Hello Avinash,

Your device tree file for OV5647 looks good. How did you apply the overlay? Also, which exact camera module are you using?

Hi Jianzhong,

We are using Raspberry Pi camera v1.3 . After compiling the Image, dtbs and modules, I copied the k3-am62a7-sk-csi2-ov5647.dtbo to SD card root/boot. I have added the overlay in uEnv.txt. I also tried applying the overly at u boot prompt.

Did you put multiple dtb overlays in uEnv.txt? From the log you provided, it looks like you have overlays for multiple sensors.

I have tested this OV5647 module and it worked fine with the SK-AM62A-LP board.

Yes.. There are multiple dtb overlays - imx219,imx290 and ov5647. Should I remove them and have only ov5647 dtb overlay?

Yes, please try with just ov5647 overlay. I'm not sure if the CSI RX driver accepts multiple sensor overlays.

I tried with ov5647 overlay, but still getting same error. Looks like the model we are using is not supported.

Hi Avinash,

I've tested this camera module of OV5647 and it worked fine for me. Can you buy one and give it a try?
