Line IN instead of MIC IN

Hello; I want to know is it possible to use LINE IN as MIC IN ? Because I want to have two microphone connected to my DSK 6713 and have two microphone input. Also is there any change needed in codes or initilise ? Also I have one solution. I can input two signals via LEFT and RIGHT channel of LINE IN. So it can be done via two recorded sounds. Then combining them and put each sound on a specific channel. Finally you would have a sound file with two different sounds on channels. Thanks for replying ...
  • Neo Anderson,

LINE IN and MIC IN usually differ by the input impedance and possibly the amount of signal gain. If you can supply sufficient signal to both LINE IN Left and Right, then that will be the best solution.
