I connect TTL Converter CP2102 UART0 not coming data gpio pins. But debug console last port is working in serial Communication. I want gpio pins and connect gps module.

I found a guide to use CP210x UART to USB. It is emphasizing on serial communication. Please check this.

Are you telling that you have connected the pins of CP2102 to MAIN_UART0?

Hi Vaibhav,

   Yes. I telling UART0 connected GPIO pins A5-Tx pin is connected CP2102 Rx pin,B5 Rx pin is connected CP2102 Tx. I attached GPIO pin configuration sysconfig file attached.

I see you were trying to interface MCU_UART0. On that note, I would like to point out something.

Please have a look at the designated UARTs for different logs.

TIFS logging console - MAIN_UART1

DM logging console - WKUP_UART0

MCU+SDK console - MCU_UART0

I am going through the schematics and datasheet, post which I will tell you which UART you can use/configure and use it for your application of connecting UART to CP2102.

Please allow me sometime, preferably a day.

Can you look at the MAIN_UART5?

Read the schematics and you should be able to find the TX and RX pins for UART5.

You can try using this for your setup.

I have verified that the UART 3 4 and 6 are not able to process the inputs.

I have tried using SBL/SPL both both to a point where I only see that MAIN_UART0 is only working.

Although UART5 is available but I think it is using GSM.

Can you point me to a doc where you find this information about UART5 using GSM? That would help me move forward.

UART5 is working send(Tx) and receive(Rx) working fine. I have connect separate module GSM,GPS is working in UART5. This time i connect and work for GSM UART5 is working fine.

GPS which UART i use tell mee vaibhav.

Hello Veerapandiyan,

On the AM62X SK board, UART5 TX and RX pins are already available on J3.

You can use them to connect based on your requirements, either to GSM or GPS.
