AM625: IMX219 rpi based camera bringup

Hi Team, we are trying to bring up imx219 rpi based 15pin ffc camera. Could you please let us know what all changes required to bringup this camera. Please share the proper pipeline commands to validate this camera features.

Currently we have done the required configuration but we are not able to get the preview when we issue gstreamer commands. When we probe the mipi line we see there is a data available on these line. Looks like we have not set the pipeline properly. Any input's w.r.t this will be helpful.

Hello Suraj,

There is no ISP on AM625, and thus you won't be able to stream from the IMX219. You can still get raw images if the camera successfully probes. For example,

root@am62xx-evm:~# media-ctl -d /dev/media0 --set-v4l2 "'imx219 4-0010':0 [fmt:SRGGB8/3280x2464 field:none]"
root@am62xx-evm:~# v4l2-ctl --device /dev/video0 --set-fmt-video=width=3280,height=2464,pixelformat=RGGB --stream-mmap --stream-to=imx219_10frm.raw --stream-count=10
