AM623: "How can I modify the speed of USB?"

Hello, TI expert!

I would like to change the USB speed from high-speed to full-speed. Apart from modifying the 'maximum-speed' in the DTS, do I need to make modifications elsewhere?

My SDK version is 08.06.00.42 and the SoC is AM6234.

Hi,

'maximum-speed' in DT is for AM62x USB in device mode. Yes, if your AM62x design use USB in device mode, you only need to modify this DT property to limit to full-speed.

However, if you use AM62x USB in host mode, 'maximum-speed' has no effect. The only way to limit the host speed to full-speed is to add a USB full-speed hub.

Because It is only used in the USB gadget driver, not the USB host driver.
