TDA4VH-Q1: unused pin connection

Hi expert,

In the hardware checklist, below these pins need to be connected to GND/VDD through a resistor, but it not specify the resistor value. Can they connect directly without resistor? Thanks.

    Typically connecting directly is not a recommended design practice (especially for new designs), as an small hardware or software error can create power/GND short and damage the device.  The pins cannot be left open/floating - as over time they can oscillate and/or drift into intermediate logic state and also damage the device.  That is the reason for recommended pullup/down resistors.
