We do support McASP as clock master, you can look at the HDMI audio overlay for AM62 https://git.ti.com/cgit/ti-linux-kernel/ti-linux-kernel/tree/arch/arm64/boot/dts/ti/k3-am625-sk-hdmi-audio.dtso?h=ti-linux-6.1.y for reference.

Although we don't have a device tree file for McASP as master because on our EVM we are using McASP as slave, but you should be able to configure McASP as master, taking these as reference:

You might want to change the clock-frequency to your design, and on AM62x we only support 25MHz.
