Hi,
We are currently using Davinci DM6467 to develop a set top box(STB)
We have a Standby mode implemented for the STB during which we turn off most of the peripherals to enter low power state.
The DSP Bios version is 5.41.00.06
Hence the requirement is to put the C64+ DSP to low power mode or totally shut it down if possible. Currently, in the device's standby mode there is no streaming or decoding going on.
So
1) What is the way to put the DSP to low power mode or turn its clock off?
2) Do we need to implement some routines on the DSP BIOS side as well for the same?
3) What is the state of the DSP specific peripherals when the decoding is stopped and hence can we be sure that if we are not calling any decoder tasks for the DSP then the DSP can safely be turned off
4) Is there already a support for putting the DSP into low power mode in the BIOS version mentioned above
Thanks and Regards
Mohammed Anwar
