Need clarification on USB DFU on AM57XX processors

Is there more detailed description on how the USB DFU should work. I went through TRM but some details are missing. For example it is stated that CH header can be added to the image downloaded, but there is no explanation on how the processor can distinguish between image with or without CH. Next how GP header should work in this case and is it needed? I would like also to know where can I get u-boot default config for GP type processor since only HS default config is available in git.

What SDK are you using?

Please see the following:

Although HW at the SoC level supports this boot mode, USB DFU boot mode is not validated in the last two SDKs there is no very little support for it. Please see the SDK Documentation Link above.

I am referring to document spruih8b.pdf pp 7951 figure 34-32. There you can find information on image format. The document states that configuration header is optional for peripheral and xip memory booting. So, how cpu can determine that image contains configuration header? Anyway, u-boot doesn't have default config for usb support for GP cpus. Only HS version is provided. Where can on find default config for USB DFU support for GP cpus? The version provided in SDK 08.02.01.00 is very old since that SDK was provided more than year ago. When is the release of new SDK for AM57XX processors will be available?

1. Please see section 34.3.8.2 Configuration Header:

2.There is not one, as outlined in the FAQ, this boot mode was not supported so it wasn't necessary. One could modify the HS defconfig and unselect the HS flags.
