AM5748: Build errors related to definitions and redefinitions in ialg.h and missing alg.h when trying C66XCODECSPCH on c66x of AM5748

Trying with the C66XCODECSPCH usage on c66x of AM57x for AMR-Wb codec.

1. No example project available

2. Trying to create example project for encoder, missing files alg.h

3. If I add alg.h from c55x version of speach codec, then getting issues with the redefinition and undefined issues with few typedefs.

I am using CCS v 9.3.0.00012 with

Hello Ashok,

This codec is not supported on the AM57 SDK.

Hi Josue,

It is working, I could resolve all the build errors and the Encoder is running fine now. Will follow the same steps for Decoder.

Hi Josue,

As I said before, for the missing alg.h files, I used the ones I ad got from E2E community in this post for similar issue in 55x. Please refer to the below thread.

And for the other issues with typedefs of Int16, Int8, Void etc. for some I got errors as already defined in the current scope and for some I got the errors as undefined symbols. So I made sure to add #include <std.h> to all the C files that were used and added it before the #include <xdas.h> and in all other header files I made sure I commented this #include <xdas.h>.

Of course I made all these changes to the c and h files on a local copies and not on the installed files.

Then everything got built and both Encoder and Decoder ran successfully for one test case each!

Unfortunately the AMR installation for c6x platform has come with only one test case (for 6.6 kbps rate only, all other rates test cases are missing), though the list of test case suggests there are many more, but the package doesn't have them.

Attaching the list of test cases that is read first. All_test_vectors_enc.txt

Then from this list, the codec runs for only 1 test case of 6.6 kbps and then aborts due to file not found for remaining test cases.

Same is the case with Decoder
