TMDS64EVM: How to build and upload a program

Part Number: TMDS64EVM

Hi, my company has a TMDS64EVM board, it is a HSFS device. We already have it configured. Last step we did was change the UART boot mode to OPSI boot mode, turn on the board and got the following response:

We are now following these steps: AM64x MCU+ SDK: CCS Launch, Load and Run (ti.com)

We still have the boot mode on OPSI boot mode

We get the following response:

But when we connect to the target, we use the same core the example uses, Cortex_R5_0_0 we get the following:

Are we missing a step? Is that the right boot mode to upload program. We downloaded a sample program that blinks an LED from the TI examples. Code can be found on the last image.

Does the fact that we have a HSFS device makes the procedure different?

Hi Juan,

The steps performed looks all okay. This error then maybe because of a faulty JTAG connection to the board. Could you plesae double click the .ccxml file and perform the "Test Connection" as shown

If you are referring to the "no debug symbol available" message, that is just saying that the CPU is halted at a location without any debug symbol association. It is not necessarily an error. Otherwise the connection looks good.

Hi KI, I forgot to mention in my previous message that I also try uploading a program, regarless of that message "Break at address "0x44", and the board just turn on a red LED that is on the picture. The program is suppose to blink an LED
