Champs:
Customer MP their PCB by using AM5728 + DP83822.
Q1: Do we have the DTS for uboot/kernel or something to enable the Clause 45 of the IEEE802.3U?
Q2. does the TI AM5728 kernel 4.4 or 4.19 should support IEEE 802.3u C45 clause PHY configuration for DP83822.?
Q3. I found this E2E said AM57 has no support for C45? please confirm y or no.
e2e.ti.com/.../am5716-mdio-interface-support-for-802-3-clause-45
Q4. if the SOC has no support the C45, even ETH phy supports C45, to combine those 2 devices, the C45 won't work, am I right?
Please comment, thanks.

Hello Rio,
Please give me a couple of days to check with the dev team.
-Josue
Hello Rio,
Dev team got back to me pretty quick.
Q1) We do not since this is not supported on AM57 HW.
Q2) Not supported in SW either.
Q3)Confirmed.
Q4)AM57 does not have support for C45 in hardware, so CPSW/MDIO and PHY cannot communicate via C45
If the PHY supports c45, then it might be possible to access c45 registers via c22 see https://www.ieee802.org/3/efm/public/nov02/oam/pannell_oam_1_1102.pdf
Hope that helps!
