6727 Device start up issue silicon 1.2

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6727B

Problem :

DSP Booting problem below <20 ºC .

Component details :

Processor                     :   TMS320C6727B – TI Make (Revision 1.2)

Flash                             :   S29GL256P – Spansion Make

Booting method           :   Parellel flash

Reset IC                        :   TLC7701IDRG4 for 1.2V & TLC7733 for 3.3V – TI make.

Details of the problem:

The processor is booting normally at room temperature and it is not happening when the temperature goes below 20 ºC .This problem is happening in many of the board's with same layout ,but in few of the boards the booting problem is not happening even when the temperature is goes below 20ºC .

The delay between 3.3V and /RST pin is 750mS.

The top marking information is same for all DSPs.

(TMS320C6727BZDHC12 – 93A2KQWG1)

Analysis

Similar problem is reported in SPRZ232F for 672X , with a work around for the CLKIN Input & reset for silicon Revision 1.0, but the silicon used by us is Revision 1.2 (there is no clear documentation that errata (advisory note 1.0.1 in SPRFZ232F) is fixed in revision 1.2 of silicon which we are using.

We need confirmation whether the issue is fixed in Revision 1.2 and we have a different problem.
