how to check module is in active or idle mode on omap

Hi all,

I am working on beagle board, which has omap3530 on it. Now i need to check if my module(DSS) is in active mode or idle mode. how do i need to check? as if i try to read any registers including power management registers (except clock management registers) i am getting an external abort on non-line fetch error.

You might need to put prink statements in drivers so that you know where exactly and what exactly trouble is.

Hi Nagabhushana,

I added print statements to my driver and i know what exactly the problem is, though i did not get why that is erroring out. In my omap fb driver, whenever i do a register read (other than clock manager registers) i am getting Unhandled fault: external abort on non-linefetch error at the ioreampped address of register read i am doing.
