Hi guys!!
I am starting to use this mode (in CCSv5) in order to debug applications that use ARM and DSP. The platform is the omap3530, the emulator xds100v2 and there is a OS Linux running in the ARM. I have already read the information about this mode in this page http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Linux_Debug_in_CCSv5, but i would like to obtain more information so that my goal is communicate ARM and DSP throught DSPLink.
I am using gdb server (thus the OS is running) in order to debug applications in the ARM but I have doubts about how load the program code in the DSP..I have probed loading the program throught the emulator but the process is slower and i think that it is not the solution..Maybe the solution may be from prompt of Linux to call the name of exectuable for ARM and to pass like argument the executable for DSP? This method would be less slower than the previous..What does it seem you?
Finally, I dont know how use DSPLink in this environment...This tool serve in order to communicate ARM and DSP, but the mode of integration cause me doubts. There are many components, many files, changes...Is there some tutorial for the case specifically?
Someone have any idea about this or about with the above lines? Thanks in advance
Regards!!
