TDA4AH-Q1: Recovery booting via QSPI NOR RBL TDA4AH

Part Number: TDA4AH-Q1

Hi,

I have a question regarding potential possibility of recovery booting (for tiboot3.bin) via QSPI NOR RBL of TDA4AH.

Suppose the primary booting of tiboot3.bin will be done from QSPI NOR flash and the backup boot mode is set to WKUP_UART0.

Normal booting flow is tiboot3.bin -> tispl.bin and next u-boot.img then some OS is loaded.

If the first instance of the tiboot3.bin image fails to boot, I would like to that RBL will be able to load the second copy of tiboot3.bin instance from a different offset for primary QSPI NOR flash booting.
This second (backup) instance of booting flow should cover also the rest of the backup images tispl.bin and u-boot.img stored in different offset.

Could you please provide detail information if such or similar functionality exist for the TDA4AH and can be checked on J784S4 EVM ?

Best regards,

Dariusz
