c6713 reserved pin 178 (pyp200)

Hi,

I'm wondering about something in the datasheet of the tms320c6713bpyp200.

Page 57, in the tarminal functions describe section, we are told, about this pin 178 (D12 for BGA devices) that:

"This pin does not have an IPU. For proper device operation, the pin must be externally pulled down with 10k res...".

I just want to be sure, because the way this sentence is written is strange. Why to talk about IPU if it needs IPD??? I expected to read: " this pin does not have an IPU, so it need one..." So is there something wrong or the sentence is just strange???

And if this is a pull up, tied to core or IO power?

Thanks,

François
