DM37x/OMP3530 512M Byte support on DVSDK

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DM3730

Hi, all

My customer want to enable the 512M Byte support  on OMAP 3530 DVSDK , so there are 2 questions:

1. For only CS0 is enabled, can the chip support 2pcs 32megx16x4 LPDDR?

The customer previous use 2pcs 2pcs 16megx16x4 LPDDR on only CS0, and they want to update to 512M Byte memory totally now, but want to have least hardware modification, so they want to use 2pcs 32megx16x4 LPDDR to replace the previous chips directly. Then they want to know can only CS0 support 2 pcs  256M Byte memory.

As I found on the TRM,   from the SDRC Address Multiplexing Scheme Selection vs SDRAM Configurations x32 Memory Interface table,  this should not be able to support.

So, could anyone give a conform on it?

2. Also according to the TRM, the chip can support 512M Byte  by choose CS0 and CS1, then can our sdk now support 512M Byte in software?

I found a doc http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/HOWTO_Support_512MB_SDRAM, which describe the OMAP34x-II MDP,

Then does OMP3530/DM37x latest dvsdk need to do such modification to support 512MB LPDDR?

Thanks !
