AM6441: CPSW+DMA interrupt

Hello Champs,

Customer has two questions about CPSW port.

1. If using 2 CPSW ports and DMA, does each port use different DMA channels or do they use the same DMA channel?

2. When receiving data by interrupt, it will enter CPSW interrupt or DMA interrupt？

    Hi,

    I recommend looking at the this figure in the AM64 technical reference manual, Figure 12-346. CPSW_3G Block Diagram. 

    This shows the external port FIFOs will funnel network traffic destined for the host through the CPPI FIFO. 

    The CPSW only works with DMA so it will be a DMA interrupt as described in the AM64 technical reference manual.
