Where can I download the contents of the CD that ships with the TMS320C5505 ezdsp usb stick?

Hi Guys,

I recently purchased a TMS320C5505 ezdsp usb stick and found a mini-CD in the box. Unfortunately I don't have a drive that supports mini-CDs. Does anyone know where I can download an image of this CD?

By the way - the reason I ask is because spectrum digital states that the software bundled in the kit is specific to the EVM: "EVM Specific Code Composer Studio™ IDE v4.1"

Is this true or can I simply download CCS4.1 and somehow obtain the license that's supposed to come with this kit?

Hi D,

Basically, the CD_ROM contains the CCS 4.1.3 installer, board test code, and board schematics/ related files.

1) Spectrum Digital hosts the CD-ROM contents on their support page: http://support.spectrumdigital.com/boards/usbstk5515/reva/

2) You can download CCS 4.2.4 online: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS

This is the latest version and it supports the C5515 eZdsp.

3) The HWN01A license supports free and unlimited use with the XDS100 embedded JTAG emulator on the C5515 eZdsp:
