I am configuring a Universal Parallel Port (UPP) on a C6748 DSP and have been following the instructions in the UPP manual.
I have set the PINMUX registers, and set CFGCHIP3 register to allow external clock input for TX.
All registers are set correctly, but right after I try to set the UPP registers using a CSL overlay (same method I used for PINMUX registers) the registers can't be written-to.
The overlay points to the correct UPP register address (according to the memory map), but nothing changes.
Any thoughts?
