TMS320C6657: Boot Setting(SW Setting)

Hi All

I am researching for C6657 Boot Setting with "SPRUHG7 - Revised May 2012".

But, I think there is a discrepancy between what is written in Section 2.2 and Section 3.3.

For example, in section 2.2 SW5-Pin[6:4] is assigned to part of the frequency setting, but in section 3.3.5 it is assigned to part of Boot Mode and part of Device Number.

Could you please guide me so that I can understand it correctly?

Hi,

SW5 is an 8 position DIP switch, which is used for DSP boot mode selection, device number and as a 2 position User Switch after DSP Boot

Thank you for the advice.

When I referred to "SPRS814A-August 2012", I found that the original description (Table 2.2@"SPRUHG7 - Revised May 2012") was inappropriate.

Now that my issue is resolved, I will close this matter.
