The NPU aka deep learning accelerator is called the C7xMMA in our architecture, and has 2 TOPS maximum performance. There are several ways to get started here. I would recommend following the quick start guide to setup the Edge AI Linux SDK on the processor and run some of the out of box examples. You can also view some our edge ai development tools on github (https://github.com/TexasInstruments/edgeai) and in the developer resources (https://dev.ti.com/edgeaistudio/)

Let me check back on downloadable versions of the documentation.

You're right that those SDK site pages have the same name. That's something I'll resolve with the documentation team - I understand the confusion. I will clarify in the meantime, because both sites have valuable information (and will crosslink each other)

1. The first one of those links (Overview_Building_the_SDK.html and all pages shown on the left) is a set of documentation generic to the SoC. This matches very closely with documentation for other devices like the AM62x. This will cover foundational components like building the kernel or yocto image, using various drivers, etc.

2. The second one (samples_apps.html and all pages shown on the left) is documentation specific to Edge AI and how to use components related to deep learning, image processing, etc. These will give information on how to utilize the NPU / C7xMMA, and where to go for more information.

I'll also point you to an FAQ that lists many resources for Edge AI and deep learning: https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1236957/faq-edge-ai-studio-edge-ai-resources-for-am6xa-socs. The samples_apps.html page is the best place to start, though!

I agree that both pages are valuable pages.

There is no way to go from the Menu Tree "Figure 1 Page" to "Figure 2 Page" in the above question.

Through which Root Page can each page be moved?

Also, the SDK Doc URL in the FAQ is not currently accessible.

To ensure I am interpreting the question correctly, you are asking how to get from one set of doc pages to the other?

• From Edge AI SDK to Linux SDK: section 9.2 has a link to the Linux SDK
• From LInux SDK: Section 4 (Edge AI user guide) is supposed to link, but I found this is broken ("docs" in the URL should be "edgeai_docs"). I have reported this to the documentation team to be fixed.
